                        အာဂ်င္တီးနား​ နိုင္ငံတြင္ နိုဝင္​ဘာ ၆ ရက္ေန့က လိင္တူ​ ဆက္ဆံသူမ်ား၊ Gay​ ႏွင့္ Gay​ အခြင့္အေရး လႈပ္ရွားသူမ်ား၏ စုရံုး​ ခ်ီတက္မႈ​ တစ္ခု ျပုလုပ္​ ခဲ့ျပီး ဇူလိုင္လ ၂၁ ရက္ေန့က အာဂ်င္တီးနား နိုင္ငံတြင္ တရားဝင္​ ျပဌာန္း​ ခဲ့သည့္ လိင္တူခ်င္း လက္ထပ္မႈ ဥပေဒကို ေအာင္ပြဲ​ တစ္ခု​ အျဖစ္ ေၾကြးေၾကာ္​ ဂုဏ္ျပု​ ခဲ့ၾကသည္။

                       ယင္း​ ျပဌာန္းခ်က္ေၾကာင့္ အာဂ်င္တီးနားသည္ လက္တင္​ အေမရိကတြင္ ပထမဆံုး လိင္တူခ်င္း လက္ထပ္​ ခြင့္ျပုသည့္ နိုင္ငံ​ ျဖစ္လာသည္။ ဥပေဒ ျပဌာန္း​ ၿပီးေနာက္ပိုင္း အာဂ်င္တီးနားသို့ Gay​ ကမ႓ာလွည့္ ခရီးသြားမ်ား လာေရာက္မႈ ျမင့္တက္​ လာသလို တရားဝင္ လက္ထပ္ခဲ့သူ Gay​ စံုတြဲ ၅၀၀ မ်ွထိ တိုးပြား​ လာေၾကာင္း သိရသည္။

                      ခ်ီတက္မႈတြင္လည္း Gay​ မ်ား၏ အခြင့္အေရးအတြက္ ေၾကြးေၾကာ္ေတာင္းဆိုမႈမ်ား ျပုလုပ္ခဲ့သလို လိင္ေျပာင္းလဲမႈ ခံယူထားသူမ်ားကိုလည္း တန္းတူရည္တူ ဆက္ဆံရန္ ေတာင္းဆိုခဲ့သည္။ အာဂ်င္တီးနား အစိုးရသည္ လႊတ္ေတာ္အတြင္း မဲခြဲမႈျဖင့္ လိင္တူခ်င္း တရားဝင္​ ထိမ္းျမားခြင့္ ေပးခဲ့ေသာ္လည္း နိုင္ငံအတြင္း ဥပေဒကို မႏွစ္သက္သူမ်ား ရွိေနဆဲျဖစ္သည္။ အထူးသျဖင့္ နိုင္ငံအတြင္း ဩဇာႀကီးမားသည့္ ဘာသာေရး အဖြဲ့အစည္းျဖစ္ေသာ ရိုမန္ကက္သလစ္ ခရစ္ယာန္ ေက်ာင္းေတာ္သည္ ယင္းဥပေဒအား ျပင္းျပင္းထန္ထန္ ကန့္ကြက္ေနဆဲျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း သိရသည္။

A colourful Gay Pride parade

Thousands of people marched in Argentina's Gay Pride parade on Saturday.

They were celebrating the country's status as the first in Latin America to legalise same-sex marriage and vowing to campaign for new rights for transgender people.

More than 500 same-sex couples have been married since President Cristina Fernandez signed the law on July 21, said Esteban Paulo - president of the Argentine Lesbians, Gay, Bi and Transgender Federation.

The gay marriage law has been a boom for tourism, said Pablo De Luca - founder of the Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce in Buenos Aires.

He estimated that 100,000 more gays and lesbians have visited Argentina as a result of the law.

"It's the same kind of increase that happened in South Africa, Canada and Madrid after they legalised gay marriage.

"We want to travel to a country where we don't feel like we have to hide our sexuality," said De Luca.

Gay and lesbian couples still face discrimination - some civil servants have been unwilling to sign their marriage licenses and the judicial system is slow to approve adoptions by them.

Argentina's dominant Roman Catholic Church remains opposed.
